Illinois disc golf photos
I've disc golfed in Illinois a bit lately. Hit some of my favorites, anna paige and krape with friends, then this last saturday i went down to southern chicago 18holers that i'd not yet been to. I hit Edgebrook, Madison Meadow Park, a little 9holer near that, Lombard Common park, Sunrise Park, and finally Shady Oaks Park pretty much in the dark. That last one was the only one remotely worth the drive. The guy who ran Edgebrook was real nice, normally they charge a 15$ fee, but holes were missing or something.. but a disc golf course on a ball golf course is just too long unless you have a pro arm. i can go to an open field and get much the same effect.

Peck and I drive over the river from the long tees. Same spot that you can see Matt losing two disks in the blogpost I mentioned prior.
this was the only hole at Edgebrook that wasn't just long and open. a nice uphill chip to a short green for real golf, a pretty decent sized anhyzer uphill and around to the right, with rolling back down into the river a major threat.

so this wednesday i leave with some friends to hit bowling green kentucky, nashville/chattanooga, and charlotte NC. discing all day, as much as possible, getting away from the cold for a while ^^
