disc golf at sandy point, nordic mountain, and riverside

new photos up from almost a month ago, discgolfing around the north.

sandy point tourney was nice and lax, good course. sux they didn't do the final 9 guerilla holes this year.

nordic mountain's a bomb ass course on a skihill right near the camp and conference center in mt morris that i've already photo'd. 2 great courses right next to each other in the boonies southeast of stevens point.

riverside's nothing special if you don't live right there.

moving my photo archive to flickr

i'm liking the features at flickr. the bulk metaediting is very useful. I've moved my almost 400 pictures into my account there and got them all organized, which was a lotta work. check out some of the new features i'm using:

a map with all my photos geocoded to location. unfortunately this pages the results and you get a "page 1 of 2" for the dots representing pix. page two to see some not displayed at that zoom. move around, zoom, then let it sit a second and it reloads, making smaller more accurate dots as you change view. pix from st paul to philly to charleston.

my tag cloud. basically representing the metadata i've given pix, the size indicates the frequency i've used the tag.

my best of, something i've thought of doing before, but now it was a snap.

pennsylvania disc golf trip

actually, it was a wedding trip, but i got a lotta discgolf in and visited my childhood home for long enough to hit a few favorite resteraunts.

i've been thinking about the right replacement for all the photoblogging i've been doing. i don't like the way my pages look right now.. taking so long to load, even when offhosted to imageshack. i think i'm going to try a more gallery tag-cloud-blogging approach for a while and see if i like it.

for those that care, i'm still working on seeing if i can learn how to retouch the wedding photos quickly enough, but i'm busy as is ^^
